Hi Bob,

If you ever get up this way and the MPI is in I should be able to get you on the wharf for a closer look.

Mine would have to be when the Coastgaurd Tug, Anglian Earl towed the decommisioned French Aircraft Carrier, Clemenceau onto the Tees to be scrapped earlier this year.

Ive also enjoyed photographing the 4 four Jackup rigs which have arrived over the past few months. The Ensco 72, Ensco 101, GSF Britannia & Ensco 70, which was photographed on one of Teesport's survey boats.

All the best for the new year

I know the deck boss onboard her, they are loading the components for the Thanet job over in Dunkerque.

Hope this helps Bob

All the best

Hi Richard,

I think its the same barge as the IMO on your site (8977948) - according to Google - matches upto Eide Barge 32, not 33. But if you search it on shipspotting.com it comes up with Eide Barge 33!.

And just to add more to the mix, Xvas has her down as 32, with a photo of the 33. So it surely must have had the name changed after the conversion work?

All the best

Hi Stoneliegh,

It was a Seaking, but ive still no idea where from. Ive e-mailed a friend who is a aviation 'buff', to see if he can figure it out.

Any idea which vessels are doing it?

Just out of interest, what happens when Tyne Dock gets to shallow for the Dredgers to get in and dump? Will they use one of them bow pumps and 'fire' it ashore...
