Orsula aground near Champlain, Quebec, Canada
« on: December 17, 2011, 03:16:06 PM »
anybody's got news of the grounded "Orsula" near champlain ?, Quebec, canada. From what I've heard she had a steering problem coming around the champlain curve. I can see 3 tugs pulling hard on her at this morning high tide.

Hi Thiery,

I started my day taking pictures in Quebec City but overheard on the VHF radio that the Coast Guard mentioned what happened. I then decided to go up the 132.

Hi Robert,

Here is what I found :

The Orsula had become disabled after a rudder failure causing the bulk carrier to go aground.  No reports of injuries, damage or pollution released.  The Orsula was proceeding only in ballast at the time of the incident. source : Shipwrecklog.com
