Looking more like the
Voyage of the Flying Dutchman, things looked good two days ago, when it looked like the
C Whale landed a berth. Then a flip-flop, and back to steaming in circles.
Now I realize there are many "professional" mariners here on the forum "rolling their eyes and saying, turn off the transponder." But they didn't. And I know from my career as a businessman, that an asset like this has "overhead expenses" - the daily cost of operating the vessel incurred,
with or without a cargo. This is just like a long haul trucker driving around for over a month with no cargo!
33 days and counting!
1. What on earth is the problem?
2 How much does it cost TMT to run this vessel?
3. If you have a worse example of steaming in circles, we'd like to hear about it!
Inquiring minds need to know ...Robert in Port Townsend.
