Hi,

Do service craft such as tugs in the Netherlands navy have the prefix HNLMS or something else?

Regards

Bob

Hi Robert

Their prefix is Hr.Ms. (Hare Majesteit's i.e. Her Majesty's)

Brgds,
Robert.

The Hr.Ms title is national and HNLMS is the English ond, much like the Norwegian KNM and HNoMS

Thanks for your replies, I wanted to know if they had the same prefix so that I can update some of my photographs.

As Bjarne says, both are correct. Info on prefix's can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_prefix

Regards

Bob
