Date of Photographs
« on: April 16, 2011, 06:33:40 PM »
Checking on to voyage of Bulk carrier Oliva which run aground on Tristan da Cunha on the 16th March 2011 I found a photo on this  site showing her in Santos on the 12th March 2011.
Due to the distant between Santos and Tristan it would have not been possible for her to have got there by the 16th March a journey of about 8 days.
I managed to find a voyage history of OLIVA on AIS and found in fact she left Santos on the 9th March 2011.
Photography dates are important when checking on the voyage history of a ship.
My conspiracy theory then went out of the window.
But I am still missing a bulk carrier that left Santos at about the same time, now 36 days and not showing on Marine Traffic, ETA China 14th April.
Found ATLANTIC HAWK just off DALIAN China.

Kelvin
Thanks for that, I thought I was seeing things but the date was edited 32 minutes ago from the 12th to the 7th.
