A TRAWLER built more than 60 years ago was today set to become the first vessel repaired in over two years at the Cockenzie Boatyard.
The 58-foot Danish-built vessel, Amazing Grace, was due to sail into the harbour on the high tide.

Today was the fourth time the boat had been scheduled to arrive from its berth at Granton Harbour, after previous attempts had been scuppered by bad weather.

The trawler, built in the 1940s, was to have its engine repaired and renovation work to its hull.

Cockenzie Boatyard was saved from being used for housing development when it was bought by Edinburgh businessman David Mackman last year.

The boatyard was a large supplier of boats in the Second World War.
iv'e seen the boat today and it dose and i mean dose not look sea worthy but hopfully it is and it is a nice shape vessel
