What on earth are they doing bringing a cruisliner into pirate invested waters? known there vulnerable to pirate attacks!! ok maybe it's a world cruise but supposing somehow they actually got onboard the ship?? they would be in there elemenet they would!!

You had better to ask what foreign navies doing there! Isn't it shame for them that this happens ? Remember years ago when US Navy invaded Somalia, they did not ask for permission to enter in theirs territorial waters but look now they stay away, ships are idle, business risky, crews unsafe....If NATO can't do anything with a few hundred bandits,who can ?

The United Nations passed a mandate allowing foreign navies the right of pursuit in Somaiian waters and several foreign naval ships have used this to pursue pirates all the way to the Somalian coast.  And for those of you who might not have heard, the Navy of the Peoples Republic of China will be escorting China flagged ships throught the threatened area.
