I would like to add that P&O's cruise ship IONA also took part in the SAR operations by employing her two MOB boats. She was on her way from Hamburg to Rotterdam when ordered to assist in the search and has now been allowed to continue her voyage.

So far two people have been rescued, one found perished and four still missing.

POLESIE has now turned around and going to Cuxhaven for inspection.
