Hello,

Is there anybody who can make a photo from the tug "World tug 1" with the tow tankbarge "Valetta"
See also position at Marinetraffic : http://www.marinetraffic.com/nl/ais/details/ships/373678000/_:b901e60bb1d6468f81cb7e2e228af467

For me are the photos from the tanker "Valetta" the most interresting.
I think that the tug take bunkers in Las Palmas and after that continious the voyage.
Thank you for reading and/or forwarding

Best regards,
Ronald

Gr. Ronald

Looks like non-stop to Dakar.  Kept well away from Las Palmas and a steady 6-7kn.
ETA Dakar 28/1.

You've seen it correct yesterday.
But now she is turning and it looks like to see that the course is to Las Palmas

My question again; are there any shipspotters in Las Palmas?

Indeed she has.  So far still seems to be staying well off - she will presumably have to take another tug to look after the tow if she is going in to take bunkers whether she berths in the port or goes to a bunkering anchorage.

Go to Advanced Search and select Las Palmas as location, then you can see the members posting regularly from there and send them a PM.

Your hunch was right.  WORLD TUG 1 is now in Puerto La Luz, Las Palmas.  But it looks as if VALETTA is being held by VB ALBORAN well off shore.

Departed Las Palmas last night, picked up VALETTA ofshore and now heading for Dakar.
ETA 28/1.

I don't think that there are any resident members at Dakar.
