one wonders about something like this or better one does not
anchor goes down, OOW,s going to listen to music and do anything but watching and checking the ships position. more or less ANCHOR DOWN-NAVIGATION STOPS
I saw it x-times !!! if weather gets to a certain level of wind and sea, the main engine should be brought to short notice or even full stand by. When that is not done, such things happen
NOW!!!,,,if we could get rid of the sailors,,how safe shipping would be !!!!!!!!

Another ship, the container vessel Captaine Tasman IMO 9359674 was last night aground on the east side of the Fiji harbour entrance with a full load of containers.
