shipspotting in South East Asia
« on: December 09, 2012, 09:08:38 AM »
Hi shipspotting friends,
I am going on a cruise from Bangkok (port Laem Chabang, outside the Chao Praya river) to severak ports, as Penang, Port Klang, Singapore, Muara and Ho Chi Minh (port Phu My outside Mekong river).
Does anyone has experience with shipspotting possibilities in those ports, especially Singapore and Port Klang ?
Singapore offers boat tours, are they good to watch some of the anchorage ?
At Port Klang the port at Pilau Lamut on a island somewhat far form the city.
Kind regards from cold an snowy Bavaria
Gerolf

Morning gerolf
Geir vinnes is the person you need to speak to
His photographs from that area are fantastic
He visits the anchorages out there and may have some contacts you could meet
Best wishes
