Help and Advice / Re: Free register on internet for inland vessels?
« on: January 09, 2024, 02:29:05 AM »
Why is there no free to use register about (European) inland vessels to be found on the internet. Compared to sea going vessels with Equasis etc, the inland section is very difficult to find.
There is the register of Dutch "De Binnenvaart", but that is maintained by volunteers that only register information that other volunteers provide.
There is the IVR register, but although the Internationale Vereniging Rijnschepenregister is semi-govermental, it is closed for non-members.
In detail I am looking for the owner of the river cruiseship DE AMSTERDAM, eni 05113920, ex LALE ANDERSEN, homeport Oberwesel in Germany. So far I only found one company at Oberwesel: Aquatel Reederei (mr Klaus Sahr), but their fleet is nowhere mentioned.
Anyone any info? Thanks, Pieter Inpyn

Go straight ahead to Binnenschiffahrt-Online, a German website with information on some inland vessels, including photos and technical details. You can search by name or ENI.

I currently encounter the same "Exposed password" message after logging in, and I'm wondering if you can do me a favor.

Hi Owen, since the revamp of the site, the maximum size is 10000x10000, the minimum size remained the same.
The "Site Standardsbuild now gg" still list a max of 4000x4000 and 4MB, so they maybe need to be updated. I've been continuing to reduce photos, but maybe I don't need to anymore.

You are absolutely correct and the site standards are currently under revision.
How long does the revision process typically take for the site standards?
