Seatrade of Groningen/Netherlands is said to have sold 14 of their reefer-vessels "en bloc" to Hamburg based MPC Steamship including charter-back for an undisclosed time.
Vessels in question are: Luzon Strait, Lombok Strait, Agulhas Stream, Benguela Stream, Comoros Stream, Polarstream,Polarlight,  Timor Stream, Discovery Bay, Southern Bay, Elsebeth, Elvira, Emerald and Esmeralda.
DOB all: 1997 - 2002.

A propeller weighing 131 tons was shipped via Rostock (German Baltic port) to Maersk-owned Odense Steel Shipyard in Denmark. Capable for a propulsion of about 120.000 HP (88.235 kW) this unit assumingly will be for the first Maersk-vessel with a capacity of more than 10.000 TEU.

Dear All,

German newspaper reports that Suez-Canal is blocked since
this morning (08.Feb) caused by grounding of a big cargoship named OKAL KING DOR close to Ismailia. Four tugs
are on the way to assist.
Can't trace vessel in LRF, as obviously incorrect name.
Who knows more ?

Last night two ships collided in Kiel-Canal. Fortunately both vessels were damaged above the waterline and could continue their voyage up to Brunsbuettel-locks, where authorities started their investigations.
