Korean patrol ships find another 6 seamen from wrecked Russian ship

SEOUL, October 25 (Itar-Tass) - Patrol ships of the South Korean maritime police have tracked down and taken aboard another five crewmembers of the Russian motor ship Sinegorye that wrecked 80 miles away from the South Korean coast Monday, September 23.
A duty officer at the maritime police told Itar-Tass there is no data now on whether all the seamen are alive but in all evidence they are.
He also said policemen had found the sixth crewmember who is in the water and holding on to a log.
All in all, twelve of Sinegorye's seamen have been found to-date but one of them died.
All the rescued men have been taken to hospitals in the town of Kangnung on the eastern coast and in the port of Pyonghae.
Medics in Kangnung told Itar-Tass two seamen have been released already and are staying in a local hotel.
One of the men still taking treatment has shoulder burns and still another one remains unconscious.
