Shipping News and information / Emilie & Estelle Maersk 1979

In 2009 Both above mentioned ships were sold to Star Maritime Corp. with St.Kitts & Nevis flag.

Emilie Maersk was renamed 06-2009 Bonny and in 08-2009 Endure
Emma was renamed 06-2009 Anders and in 01-2010 Endeavour.

Was Star Maritime Corp. a subsidiary off the A.P. Moller group.

Can anyone tell or confirm this.

Can anybody tell me where Maersk Constallation (imo 7717171) was scrapped in 2011.
I have sold for scrap on 13-09-2011 but missing anything else.

Could anyone confirm that the Rosalind Mary 1 is scrapped or beiing scrapped at Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Has anyone has pics off her in present state.

Good evening Gents,

I have three questions;

1) Can someone supply me with the Keel Laid/Launch and Delivery dates of the Benalder/Benarty and Benavon.

2) Since 2011 Maersk is rebuilding 5 classes of their container fleet.
   Can someone supply with the years of rebuilding of these vessels.
   Not all vessels are done yet but all info is welcome.
   I already know the A.P. M

Good Evening,

I have a smaal question.
Somewhere I found out that the Searose FPSO (imo 9274501) was managed by Maersk in 2004.
According to Sea-Web this never happened and she was always owned by Husky oil.

Can anybody confirm if she was managed by Maersk or this is falls information.

Good Evening,

I have a question for our American members.

In 1999 Maersk acquired Sea-Land from CSX and in 2003 CSX was sold to Horizon Lines.

My question is;

The ships that were present in the fleet dec-1999 were they all transferred to A.P. Moller or did some vessels stayed with CSX.
The reason is that according to Sea-Web not all the vessels from Sea-Land were owned by Maersk.

Wich I'm also interested in is the charters at that time, were they all ended or did they continue.

I was told that there is a German site about shipbreaking.
It's really actual so really of interest to me and maybe other members.

Is there anybody who knows this site.
The only thing I know is that it's called abwracken or something like this and that mr. Gert Uwe Detflefsen is a contributor or member of this site.

Gents,

I have a question about above named vessel.
She's the ex Estelle Maersk from 1987.

I have noted that she was sold for scrap in 2013 to India and arrived Alang 05-06-2013.

Now I was looking at Sea-Web and they stated that she was sold to S Q Corp., Pakistan for scrapping.

Can anyone tell me wich version is true.

Doe anybody has some information about the Resolve Suhaili.
In march 2012 she was scrapped at a unknown location in the USA, I heared rumours that it was Galveston but I don't have 100% conformation about this.
Maybe one of the many shipspotters can help me with this query.
I'm very interested where she was scrapped and the dates.

Does anybody wich company scrapped her and the date that scrapping began.
Also the price per Ldt I don't know.

Help and Advice / Project 745 - Sorum class tugs

Good evening,

My name is Leon de Hoop, 39 yrs old and working as a tug captain in the port of Rotterdam.
I'm also a model builder and at present building a model of the ITC tug Solano.

In the near furute I want to build a model of a sorum class tug wich were build between 1976 and present in Russia.
Uptil now I have very little information,drawings, pictures etc.
Can anybody help me with drawings, pictures, detail pictures.
