I know she's been sold to a Chinese group, however, does anyone know the whereabouts of The CAT Ferry (Incat 059)?? Any info on where she is now or recent photos are greatly appreciated!!

Shipping News and information / MV Highlanders (ex MV Stena Traveller)

I'm wondering if the MV Stena Traveller is in Bremerhaven yet?? I've seen she's still in service between Hoek Van Holland and Killingholme but she's due out of service soon.  I decided to start this one as the ship is being retrofitted since the other discussion on the Stena Trader (now renamed Blue Puttees) turned into Marine Atlantic criticism (I don't want any criticism over Marine Atlantic on this discussion please, only updates on the MV Highlanders).

Now with the MV Caribou retired from the NS-NL service  , it made me wonder which vessel is (or will be) the new flagship of Marine Atlantic.  Does anyone know??

Does anyone know where Bay Ferries' CAT Ferry is??  The last time I checked was this summer when she was still at her birth in Bar Harbor Maine!!!!  Is the ship still there or deployed elsewhere?

Shipping News and information / Where will MV Caribou and MV Smallwood end up??

Since they're being retired from Marine Atlantic service, I'm beginning to wonder where these wonderful vessels will end up in the immediate future. There's been speculation on where they're going, but no true details.  Some speculate the ships are going to the German yards where the replacement ferries are built to be retrofitted to one of the ferries running on the Bay of Fundy service!!  That's the only two speculations I've heard so far.  Did anyone hear any more rumors floating around??

I'm just wondering, I looked on the Marine Atlantic webite and it looks like the MV Atlantic Vision is still in Les Mechins under refit since I didn't see the ship's name on the arrivals or departures lists!!  I wonder if it is a major refit since the ship has been out of service since the end of September!!  Does anyone know when this magnificent vessel will come back to the gulf run??
