The German firm Holiday Kreuzfahrt was declared bankrupt last month. Does anyone know were the beautifull MONA LISA and the LILI MARLENE are laid-up?

Hello,

we all know that a large number of ships are scrapped at Aliaga or Alang. But I am curious about what happens with the scrapp-iron? It must be a huge quantity. Is it transported back to ironworks and how? Are harbours closeby to ship it in bulkercarriers back to Japan / USA / Europe?
And what happens with all the furniture and "art works" from the scrapped ferries and cruiseships? I never see any ad's for such things.

Can anyone help with data about the many local ferries at Istanbul?

I am looking for number of passengers for: Sehit Mustafa Aydogdu, Prof Dr Aykut Barka, Sarayburnu, Besiktas I, Maltepe, Emin Kul, Hamdi Karahasan (to mention a few)

Also info is asked about the carferries Harem, Galatasary, Gayrettepe, Sultanteppe and Zeytinburnu: number of passengers, number of cars?
