Hello, I'm new here and so glad to have found this website. I got to see another picture of my dad's ship and it brings tears to my eyes. My dad sailed on the African Mercury, he took it out on it's maiden voyage. I can remember that ship, being on there and walking up those scary stairs and the crew like it was only yesterday. I've heard that it is at the shipyard in James River in Virginia and would like to find out if that is true. Any help on where this ship is or if it is still around would be appreciated.
