Partial lightering is required to re-float a Greek-operated aframax tanker which grounded in Venezuela

No wonder that so many ships goes aground.

When I visited the channel a couple of times with Helene Maersk, due to Holyhead's collision, we sometimes had less than 1m beneath the keel and once I saw 0.5m on the echosounder with a draft of 9.10m.
