Just a little tidbit of info for the liner enthusists out there.I have just completed a 1/600 scale model of the R M S MAURETANIA II.If your interested what I did was take a same scale model of R M S QUEEN MARY I and I cut it at the 9th and 10th life boat as straight as possable takeing out a 3in. section witch brings you to the last life boat.Then you have to cut the upper portion as well associated with the upper super structure to corrispond.Then glue them back together.I did it this way because I was not able to find a same scale model of QUEEN ELIZEBETH 1.It really worked well.I have the model mounted in plaster on a board to hide most of the bottom of the ship as this part does not really line up well.But once it is in the plaster sea mock up it looks super.-----if any one would like photos please contact
