Due to ongoing industrial action at the Sydney container terminals, Maersk have decided to drop the port from their OC1 ECNA/Latin America schedule. The vessels will instead call at Brisbane, as well as the Melbourne call. Containers for discharge and load in Sydney will be transhipped through Tauranga on the Polaris service. To accomodate the increased container volume they are adding a fourth vessel to the Polaris schedule and adding the call into Tauranga.

The new vessel will be Archer IMO 9338058, and she will slot in at the end of January.

Sofrana Tourville is heading to Shekou for drydock after her call in Noumea. She is due back in Tauranga and Auckland on 16-18 March 2024. There are no forward schedules for her after this date and they have Petkum still showing in the schedule in May. Anyone know what Sofrana have planned for this vessel?

MSC Capricorn vessels are now calling Auckland to load after Tauranga. This means Auckland is now getting calls from both Kiwi service and Capricorn service vessels.
