P&O Azure
« on: June 11, 2015, 03:03:37 PM »
Joining Azura on Saturday for cruise to Norway one week, just been informed via e-mail by P&O, that there is on last cruise an increase in the numbers of gastrointestinal illness on board among the passengers, The pattern of illness strongly suggests that this was caused by Norovirus. Boarding has been delayed by two hours to allow a extensive sanitation programme. Credit to P&O for telling us prior to boarding, and that they are trying to sort it out. Not hiding it under the carpet.

Also the smallest ship in the P&O fleet the Adonia is going to become the Fathom next year running out of the States, more change and not for the best.

Adonia will be transferred to Fathom from 2016. Fathom is a new Carnival brand running educational cruises out of Miami. Adonia will still be owned by P&O Cruises and there's no confirmation that she will be renamed.
