MARITIME and SHIP RELATED EVENTS in 2012

Dear maritime and ship enthusiasts. Please, be so kind as to let me know of any TRULY MARITIME (and ship related) event in your country, that you expect in 2012.

I am compiling the listing of MARITIME events to take place in 2012 worldwide for maritime magazine I work for.

I am interested in port festivals (like Wereldhavendagen in Rotterdam and Hafengeburtstag in Hamburg or Maritime Woche in Bremen/Bremerhaven), but also in "small versions" in smaller ports.
I am also interested in BIG sailing ships (tall ships) regatta and gatherings / festivals.
And "ship gatherings" like "steam ships" festivals in the Netherlands or port/fishing festivals (like "herring days" in the Netherlands, where you can see many trawlers gathered or even take a short trip onboard a trawler or spectacular "one time" events available for a big groups like cruise ship christenings in Hamburg or elsewhere...
Any harbour or yard "open days" or "open ship" days would be of interest.

I am NOT interested in sailboats regatta, small old-timer sailing boats gatherings, "seaside resort" (beach) festivals or music or culture festivals "by the sea" (having NOT much to do with "real" maritime and ship related interests). I am NOT interested in sea-diving events or shanties festivals...

Also any bigger (not very local) gathering of shiplovers / shipspotters would be of interest. Same as "flea markets" and exchanges with maritime books, postcards, ship related gadgets, etc. for shiplovers.

The events I am interested in are ship, shipping, marine industries awareness, maritime heritage related. I am interested in ANY event in 2012, that may be of interested to shiplover / ship enthusiast, ship modeller, shipspotter, etc.

Will there be any Shipspotting Summit or gathering ?...

Please, share your knowledge of any such MARITIME event to take place in 2012.
I suppose it will not only be of help for me, with my task, but will be also valuable information for users of this site...

Regards,

Peter

p.s.
I already know (and "everyone knows" - as they are easy to be found on the Web) about the following in 2012:
- Hamburg Hafengeburtstag
(by the way... when there will be a schlepperballet in Rostock / Waremuende ?...
OR in tug ballet or tug races in ANY OTHER place on this Earth?... )
- Wereldhavendagen in Rotterdam
- SMM in Hamburg
- Posidonia in Greece
- Transport Week in Gdansk in March
- SAR stations open day in the Netherlands (Reddingboot... something - sorry, I do not remember this Dutch word)
- Terneuzen Havendagen.
I am looking for more similar events...

Devonport (Australia) will be the port of the recommissioning of the sailing ship, Julie Burgess in February. If that's the kind of news even you're looking for.
