Collision near Cuxhaven on 05.12.2005

In the evening of 05.12.2005 the container feeder vessel ARCTIC FOX and the freighter MARITIME LADY collided. MARITIME LADY capsized and began to drift downstream river Elbe. Seven crew members were rescued.
MARITIME LADY was on her way downstream river Elbe when ARCTIC FOX left Kiel Canal at Brunsb

Name of third vessel is "Sunny Blossom".

Bad luck for the Mairitime Lady. She was only re-named on the same day (according to equasis). She is the former Sea Ems.

Correction: The first vessel was ARCTIC OCEAN not ARCTIC FOX. Wrong information of local radio station.

I fear that our newspaper had this photo only for one day on their site. Here I found another site with even better informations. But I can't say how long this story inclusive photos will stay there. Try this one
