According to Swire's South East Asia schedule from New Zealand the "Pacific Explorer" will replace the "Pacific Independence". Maybe they are keeping the Tasman Provider on the Trans Tasman run?

According to the initial announcement, Pacific Explorer will replace Pacific Independence for one voyage, after which the Tasman Provider will take over as per the following extract.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances we are off-hiring the “Pacific Independence” urgently in Singapore, and replacing her with the “Tasman Provider” beginning in New Zealand on 15th July.

As such we are having to change our Southbound schedule and cargo to Lae, Honiara, Fiji and New Zealand involving the below changes.

The Pacific Explorer 031S will now replace the Pacific Independence 1117S voyage and call Lae, Honiara, Lautoka and Suva, and omit Melbourne. The Pacific Harmony 019 will now call Darwin on the way to Port Moresby."

This has been issued by Swire Shipping. It is believed that the two vessels are members of the "A" class belonging to Spliethoff's, but that has yet to be confirmed.

After advertising the MSC Clementina as a replacement for the MSC Sabrina, MSC have now advertised a vessel by the name of Sydney as a replacement. It appears that this is the OOCL Sydney which will drop her "OOCL" prefix.

Maersk have announced some of the replacement vessels for their South East Asia run to Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore and Port Kelang.
The vessels are:
Maersk Norwich IMO 9301938
Maersk Jamestown IMO 9330525
Josephine Maersk IMO 9215191
Maersk Jenaz IMO 9311737
Irenes Rainbow IMO 9303780 ( This vessel has called at Auckland as Kota Segar)
The vessel Pisti imo 9122203 was mentioned earlier but has now been deleted from the list.
There are also vessels "Dummy", Dummy 3" and "Dummy Barge" so I presume that more vessels may be added to the service.
The NZ ports of call will be Auckland, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers, and then alternating the following voyage with Auckland, Tauranga.
Two vessels will call at Auckland within days of each other calling at the alternating ports.

Another vessel added to Maersk's South Esat Asia run is "Passat Spring" IMO 9316359. Also they are listing a vessel called "Raos". I can't locate a container ship of that name but she is due to leave Tanjung Pelepas for NZ 10th August.

Neptune Shipping is to withdraw the Capitaine Wallis from the Auckland/Lyttleton/Tauranga to Fiji run. She will be replaced by the Southern Fleur and Southern Lily 2. The Southern Fleur will add calls to Tauranga from voyage 207. There are no planned calls at Lyttleton.
The Capitaine Wallis is to replace Egernsund and Southern Tiare from Suva to Wallis, Funafuti, Futuna, Tarawa and Majuro.
The Egernsund will be returned to her owners at Auckland. The Southern Tiare will continue to trade between Suva, Nauru, Noro and Honiara.

Another two vessels have been announced by Maersk for their South East Asia run.
They are "Graham" due to load Tanjung Pelapas 23rd July and "AS Carelia" due to load 2nd August. There are as yet no vessels with these names trading so will advise when I find out closer to the dates.
