Bulker aground
« on: November 15, 2005, 06:19:46 PM »
On Nov. 11th, bulker EVER MIGHTY (IMO 9128489), sailing under the flag of Panama, ran aground at the northern entrance of the Belt, close to the Danish island Samsoe.
She was on her way from Ventspils to Tilbury, with a full load of 69.000 tons of coal. It is reported that 10.000 tons must be lightered into a barge, which will arrive mid of this week. EVER MIGHTY can be traced at AISlive in the map of "West Baltic".
dead slow ahead !  :-)
best regards, Klaus
