Ebba Maersk with 15011 TEUs at Tangier

According to a Danish magazine Ebba Maersk arrived at Tanger with a record
load of 15011 TEU around 18 May.

Maersk Line has declined to comment on this figure.

Someone with more info on this?

This is true though she was sailing East bound from Tangier to the Far east-Yantian being the first port of call in the Far east.As she was sailing East bound I'm guessing there were a decent amount of empty containers.

She loaded empties in Tangiers, however, loading that many containers cannot be accomplished without loading a substantial amount of full units, otherwise the cranes will not be able to load top-tier.

Which still does not say if it is TRUE or not.
I bet someone at the Suez Canal knows...
