Cruise ship data...Help please

Good Day All!!,

I am trying to find some information regarding the trend in cruise ship construction over the last 2 decades. Primarily I seek a comparison between the increase in length and tonnages. Also does anybody know of a website that might list the newbuilds worldwide over the last 20years. Thanks in advance.

A very useful source of information is the Douglas Ward / Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising and Cruise Ships.  Each year there is an analysis of the trends and new ships are listed.  In the 2010 edition on page 687 is a table which lists Ocean Ships to Debut 2010 to 2012".  The same sort of information is in each edition and the book is now in its 25th year.

For example, in the 2004 edition (the earliest year which I have a copy) on page 125 is a table of Ships to debut 2004-6.

Perhaps there is a library (remember them) that has back editions?
