(Un)official Summit 2010 - Antwerp

Hope you can make this a sticky topic. I know some people like to go next year to Hamburg but I want to open the possibility for another (un)official summit 2010 in Antwerp.

Hi steve,
I think we meet us in June in Hamburg and in July in Antwerp!!!
For Antwerp I think the normal programm harbour cruise(this time not only the MSC museum please the whole area and Scheldecruise.) Now we have time!!
A boat trip to Ternezeun would be o.k.but I think for the most of us too expensive.
I think it is a very good idea to meet together at this time. I will come and I know now my camera!!

I have a boat from Terneuzen to Antwerp for 1300 euro /50 person.
We can also have a bbq on that boat.

It is a very good idea, and I could join, if I can get the days free, but first of all IF someone can give me a lift from the station to the meeting point  :-D With or without the famous MSC-museum which I did really enjoy, it was a great time to meet and I enjoyed it very much !

such a meeting always a good idea. I am very much interested.
What is as well very intersting is to watch the parade of outgoing sailing vessel at Walsoorden. I did this in 2006 I think and it was great to se allthis loveyl vesels in the evening sun.

I go ask maybe we can stap on a tug from the port of antwerp with the tall ship the tugs coming on river scheldt to assist the sailing vessels

Would like to know from somebody from shipspotting.com if we can make this an official or an unofficial summit.

If unofficial we can start to take contact with some hotels to get a good price for the weekend.

An educational visit to a certain on-the-water museum would though be VERY interesting for me, just like it was this year. Although I do think, that many of the older exhibits are gone already.

For me it is not important, if this is an official or unofficial meeting. I go once in a year in this area. So, if I know th date in advance I can arrange.
