the BBC news website has the vessels as "Sierra Express" and "Dogger".

Sounds like Hapag Lloyd are in the wars at the moment, if that's their Sierra Express, what with the Savannah Express/Bergen Castle "fender bender" in Southampton a couple of weeks ago!

According to Fairplay Daily News, both the Sierra Express and Dogger have arrived at Falmouth for inspection and repairs. The Dogger is at berth, whilst the Sierra express is "anchored outside the bay" (Presume Carrick Roads?) due to draught restrictions.

Hope this is of interest

Ken Smith posted some shots of Sierra Express leaving London a few days ago.

Dogger (Dollard -96, Doggerbank -95), 1,092/76 - general cargo, owned by AS Ami (Misje Reden), Bahamas in collision 2/8/05 with the container ship Sierra Expressq.v. about 45 miiles south-east of the Lizard in position 49.23N, 04.29W and sustained considerable bow damage. She was able to proceed to Falmouth under her own power, escorted by a local lifeboat. The Sierra Express sustained some bow damage but was able to proceed.
