New Acergy Boat
« on: January 26, 2007, 02:01:10 PM »
Does anyone know anything about a new boat build / conversion for Acergy thats currently taking place in Singapore. It's not the new chartered boat Proteus and it's not the new build thats currently happening in Norway. Apparently its quite a large boat and will be the flagship when it's completed.

Also as i have not got my AIS up and running yet.

The Acergy Petrel just left Aberdeen today afaik, anyone know where it's heading? I was going to get a pic to add to the collection as it's not listed in the websites ship photos but i missed it.
They are changing thier ship colours from the SCS yellow to Acergy red the Petrel is just out of dry dock, so wanted to see if it had been painted. Think the Falcon in Amsterdam will also be getting painted..

By TradeWinds:

 Deep Sea charters newbuilding

John Fredriksen-backed offshore vessel operator Deep Sea Supply has won a charter deal for its anchor-handling supply tug Sea Cheetah.

The 15,000-bhp ship will work for Acergy, the former Stolt Offshore, in West Africa.

The charter will last three to four months and is worth $6.5m.

The ship, being built by Jaya Shipyard in Singapore, will be delivered to the Norwegian-listed company on 8 February.
