What happened to the leading zero in the ENI ?
« on: September 29, 2023, 09:32:03 AM »
Uploading an inland vessel the ENI is needed, consisting of 8 digits, countries like Netherlands, Belgium, Germany start with 0...., other countries have an other digit like Poland start with 2....
Full list on ENI-structure by country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ENI_number

Uploading an inland vessel like GEESTEMUNDE eni 05116790
- entering the ENI as 05116790 give no history in the category box.
- entering the ENI as 5116790 give the correct history in the category box.
- entering the ENI as 5116790 then shows the message: complete to 8 digits, so 05116790 is needed
- viewing after upload show the ENI as 5116790 and not 05116790
- editing the ENI in the edit screen with an additional 0 gives back ENI 5116790 and a 0 lonely on the next line

See https://www.shipspotting.com/photos/3629874 as example.

Maybe IT can review this? Thank you.
