Couple of questions / site slow

Hi there, is anyone else experiencing a sluggish site, especially opening up photos?....and secondly is it just me or is the photos when opened smaller than they were before?

Has been sluggish for a few days now for me - can't say I've noticed any difference in photo size though.

I noticed it too that opening photos is somewhat slow. When clicking on photo to enlarge it there are wide black bars on both sides and the photo does not actually appears bigger.

I assume IT is trying out the impact of some new functions that are being developed. I'll ask about it.

The photos before you even open them are smaller than they were before.

It was fine this morning around 11:00, but now indeed it is terrible slow again.

Even replying to this, goes very slowly.
IT is giving it full attention, but the reasons for this are still unclear. I assume patience is the word.

Thanks Pieter for the update, for me the speed had deteriorated to the extent even when logged in I can no longer view images without being frustrated. Will be patient and look forward to it being resolved.

The issue does not seem to be affecting all members. I have notice no problems over the past few days.
