Do we have a problem?

It is 16 months since we had the last "is there a site problem?" messages, and since then the site has been quite responsive, but over the past week or two I have found it to be getting slower. When selecting a photo to download it can take up to 2 minutes to start the download, usually the image displays quickly, but it seems the access time is long. Have also noted a number of "bad gateway" messages showing that the problem is at SS end. In addition the login sequence locks up or says try again.  Yes generally minor issues but seem to be increasing, of course there can be many reasons for this but would be interested to know whether others are seeing this. I use Firefox and Duckduckgo via Norton safe search. Kindest regards to all.  Anthony Legg

I've noticed the site does appear to be slow to respond over the last week or so.

Indeed there is a database related problem which is being investigated by the site's backend team.

Will let you know when there is more information available.
