According to shipbrokers Intermodal, the MSC chartered Pohorje has been sold to Swiss based interests, so it is quite possible MSC have purchased her. It will be interesting to see if she returns next month with a new name. Maybe MSC Pohorje IV? (Her TEU capacity is 4043);D

MSC have been confirmed as buyers and in the meantime, the next voyage of the Pohorje has been cancelled and the MSC schedule now shows MSC Durban IV in her place, so possibly this is her new name.

Two vessels absent from the Maersk "Southern Star" service are due to return imminently following drydockings, the SFL Maui and Rio de la Plata will replace the fill-in's SFL Hawaii and Monte Tamaro. Some speculation Maersk would take the opportunity to redecorate the Rio de la Plata into their colours and naming scheme as they did last year with other former Hamburg-Sud vessels. This possibility made more likely by a source
suggesting a Maersk Rio Delta will join the service at the same time other schedules nominate the Rio de la Plata.

Another newcomer to these parts also has a Maersk connection though that is from a past life, the 2005 built MSC Durham has been added to the Capricorn Asia service, previously sailed as Maersk Durham and more recently as CSL Santa Maria. At 4,838TEU one of the larger vessels MSC has brought down to New Zealand.

Napier Port has the wrong name on their arrival schedule.
It is not MSC Durham it is MSC Durban IV ex Pohorje.
The CSL Santa Maria is now the MSC Santa Maria and is trading on the Canadian Express Service.

Lady Jane IMO 9297474 is replacing Shiling on the NZS service. The Shiling is still docked in Wellington after experiencing full engine failure on her earlier departure. She will not be able to leave until authorities are satisfied that the repairs have been done to their satisfaction. Once this is acheived she will head for Singapore. She has an arrival date of 8 May.
