Updates on vessels and services to New Zealand in 2022
« on: January 15, 2022, 12:15:02 AM »
NZ exporters are becoming frustrated with on going container vessel delays. A group of meat exporters have chartered a reefer to load meat in New Plymouth , Lyttelton and Tauranga.
She is Cool Expreso IMO 9085479, and she is coming in ballast from Posorja Ecuador.
She will discharge at the Port of Stockton, which is up the San Joaquin River from San Francisco.

Also the car carrier Istra Ace IMO 9318503 is due in Marsden Point from Iquique Chile to load Triboard for Hiroshima Japan.

The bulk carrier Oriental Spirit IMO 9326316 is due at Northport on 19 January from Port Alma in Australia to, according to the website, discharge containers. She will then sail for Brisbane. Does anyone know what service she is chartered for?

Tasman Chief IMO 9363546 ex Lily Auerbach is replacing Kokopo Chief on Swire's Trans Tasman schedule. I guess Kokopo Chief will finally be joining her sister Melanesian Chief at the breakers yard at Alang.
