I understand that Boudicca will likely soon be followed onto the scrapyard beaches by her former fleet mate, Albatros.

ALBATROS sold for scrap: https://www.cruiseharbournews.com/albatrosscrap.html?fbclid=IwAR1zaG1gAq9ZqHXlx6DZdCSU9HpHraouxvyTDEf_Vxf912-Chyti_KYD598

Considering that Black Watch is the same age as her sister ships Boudicca and Albatros and the fact that all three were bought to be hotel ships, I fest that Black Watch will follow them to the scrapyards.

Rumours of the three classic 1970's Liners being utilised as "Accommodation Ships" was just a rouse then?

That, or their ages were too old for the vessels to be utulised as such. The vessels are/were 40 years old and refurbishing them is expensive and would only get higher as the years progress.

But Boudicca was not a unique ship, she had two sister ships. True, they were not totally identical but near enough.
