Hi Brian,

The MRB plan may be lacking details but it is definitively based upon actual drawings.

Suggest you get that one and improve d

Hi Roland

Have orderet the (MRB) plan over Bourbon Abeille today, so will be interest to see in a few days how good the plan are. The most important are the drawings of the frames to construct the hull, if I just can built the hull, then anything else is able to be built out of what you see on pictures.

Regards Brian....

I've been trying to get hold of a set of plans for the Abeille Bourbon for ages! I looked at the MRB plans, but unfortunately they're on paper - and I need a digital set, as I work in 3D. Does anyone know of anywhere that either sells (or preferably, freely distributes) digital versions of the Abbeille Bourbon plans (mainly the linesplan, I can work out the rest from the internet!).
Enough torque to restart a dead planet! OOW with an unlimited CoC looking for work. :)

Hi Smithy166

On the german modelsite www.rc-modellbau-schiffe.de there is a user named "Deadwood", his real name are Ralph, he have made the Bourbon Abeille line drawings in 3D, try to contact him for help. The lineplan are on the forum of the german site, so you can look at it first, hopefully this can help you. I still need my plans on paper ;-)

Regards Brian.

Perhaps it would help to search with the ship's real name, "Abeille Bourbon"...

I would like to get plans to make a Model of this ship.

Any hints of where to get plans from or other assistance would be much appreciated.

Hi Alex,

A large folder about Abeille Bourbon is "in the air" towards NZ through Wetransfer, hope you will enjoy it.

Take care / Roland

Hi Bjorn,

Thanks for the lint to the photo and details.
Much apreaticated.

The link to a page where there is drawing comes up with a page that looks to require payment.

I can not read the language.  Speak English only sorry.

Can I access a English version of the page and if so how?

Again thanks for you assistance.

Alex

Turn on translation in Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Edge is set to offer translation by default, but if this setting is disabled for any reason, you'll need to set it again. To specify whether Microsoft Edge offers translation:

In the upper corner of your browser, select Settings and more <null> > Settings.

Click Language.

Turn on Offers to translate pages that aren't in a language I'm reading.

By default, Microsoft Edge is the same language as your system. For information about setting the language for Microsoft Edge, see Using Microsoft Edge in a different language.
