Hi Pieter, from a time to now I have experienced some problems to upload my photos, the site does not indicate whether the photo has been posted or not, therefore I have to wait a few minutes to stop the uploading and access to New Photos to check if the photos have been uploaded or not.

Regards

Tomi.

Hi Tomi, there is another thread on the forum, dealing with those issues, it has to do with the new site layout, and the migration from the old set-up to the new one.

Oh dear, this used to be so easy to use. I wonder why it was changed? I just can't find my way around it anymore. I look for a photo on a search engine, find a nice picture of a ship attributed to ShipSpotting, click it and get the site page saying 'not found'. Most annoying.

I am having difficulty logging in & uploading photos. Often have to try 2 or 3 times to get in via the Forum link (which welcomes me correctly), but clicking on the "human" icon in the top right of the screen produces nothing. After several repeated attempts I succeed & can get to the upload link.
The other issues I have is that it seems to be impossible to edit my photos. I can get to the edit screen, but nothing can be edited - just no response at all.
I also can't get the "Search" function to work either.
This is all very time consuming & frustrating.
Hoping for quick resolution.
FredC

Hi Rick I have tried to get your profile in Advanced Search and there you will come up with 3,354 pictures with last upload Jun 9 2022 so your pictures are here at least.

Monday morning - site is very slow to respond to viewing photos. Error messages on my server say it is a problem with Shipspotting...is anyone else having this problem? Very few users on at present. Anthony Legg.

Same here on Sunday evening. I can only view 15-20 photos and then the site does not load any more.

Add me to the list of those having problems loading up photos.
Wondered if it was my internet being slow but I guess not.

Hi All,

The issue is currently being looked at. It is most likely a site problem, caused by a new feature that created unexpected side-effects. I have the same slow loading problems.
