Dates on Pictures
« on: July 24, 2016, 02:33:24 PM »
I have noticed that the dates on my pictures are always showing up a day before I set them in the picture information when posting them.  I have tried fixing my "time" location in my personal settings to fix this, but it doesn't seem to help.  Any ideas?

Its the time zones, if I take a photo in the morning and upload here before 10am my local time its show a uploaded date of the day before I took the photo.

I assume that it is the "Added date" that is looking wrong.  So far as I remember from previous discussions on this, this is set by the server as a "time stamp" as part of the uploading process (which also allocates a time-sequential ID number) and is not influeced by any individual settings.  I don't see this is a problem.

But the date you enter yourself in the Date of Photo field, showing as "Captured", should be unaltered, I think.  Or is there an over-ride in the software that prevents entering a captured date that the server has not yet reached?
