NW passage for Paxer

When I read below,,somehow it contradicts, first extra surprise,,here and there ashore
and bear watching etc and then cultural respect.
As bad as it sounds, the best is right away a nice accident with oil spill and the waters
closed forever. That's the only way to respect the cultural of that areas people as touted further below.

I wonder, what a tourist will do in the middle of a tundra ?

I think the only proper way to enjoy the Arctic wilderness is from a small, expedition-style cruise ship, not a megacruiser with thousands of other passengers. You get more intimate and personal experience. Sure, it's more expensive, but why there would have to be cheap mass tourism in the last great wilderness?
