Hi,

For people who doesn't understand dutch...

Mary Maersk is expected to call at Antwerp on Friday the 18th.
Pilot is expected to be picked up at 10 am at the "Wandelaar" pilot station and Mary Maersk might arrive at the Deurganckterminal at 17 h (5 pm).
The rest of the text is about the size of the ship, the social conflict in Rotterdam, etc.
They also say that this event will be a "first" for the navigation on the Western Scheldt (Westerschelde) and that it will be monitored by the Belgian and Dutch Navigation Authorities.

According to my experience, it normally takes around 4 hours between the pick up of the pilot and the moment the ship pass Walsoorden which is with Terneuzen the best place to watch the traffic on the Schelde.

I think they will not take any risk and will arrive by high tide which is at 14:15 in Flushing and 15:57 Local Time in Antwerp... so shipspotters, if you are interested  ;), you know where to be and at what time next Friday.

JP

Edit: and thanks Ron for the info.
