Now showing as 'anchored' off Southwold, having made an abrupt change of course in the middle of the night. AIS destination is 'Southwold".

In the world of tankers nothing is confirmed until you are tied up alongside a terminal. The charters of her have probably found another cargo which if shipped by the TI Europse will make them more money.
A ship can change destinations numerous times before finally arriving somewhere to discharge its cargo. It all depends who will offer the most money.

If she's fixed to load from Rotterdam, it's likely her laycan will commence later on. Therefore owners keep her off ECUK drifting/anchored for orders. No notifications have been given so far to the RPA (Rotterdam Port Authority). Wait and see.

Aargh, Cap'n Ted,
It's just some enthusiasts getting (over?) enthusiastic about the normal intrigues and mysteries of the tanker business!
Prosit!

Its still there.....how much would it cost to run it just floating off the coast? If its not earning anything, whats the point?
