I have one very similar to this; the Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO Macro Super DG Lens for Canon fit.
I guess the only difference is mine is not image stabilised.
I think it is a good lens but I have found one possible snag. Sometimes, after taking a shot, the lens seems to go into a sort of "depth of field preview" mode. If I press the depth of field preview button on the camera, it goes back to normal. It doesn't happen very often, but even when it does, it makes no difference to the photos etc. Just annoying.
Great value for money, in my opinion.

Gents,

I had the same lens as Kelvin for a number of years and couldn't fault it, the only reason i changed was to get a stabilized lens for distance shots.
