The TECUMSEH was upbound on the St-Lawrence River this morning in Quebec City.

The ship was TINA LITRICO and was refitted in Mexico for Great Lakes use. The bulker was built in 1973.

I nearly missed its passage since its AIS was not working properly and didn't see it on Siitech. I was going to take pictures of the CLIPPER LEGACY at and the last minute saw the TECUMSEH.

At about St-Nicolas the pilot on-board called the Coast Guard saying that it had to go to half speed because of a mechanical problem.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Hello Michel,

I could not see the ship on Siitech this morning and even tonight still no sign. Marinetraffic shows it at the Port of Montreal. I'm not sure what is going on since normally Siitech is more reliable than Marinetraffic.

Siitech now shows TECUMSEH but only with its MMSI number not its name.

TECUMSEH is at the Port of Montreal and its status is that is there for Winter layup until March 29th, 2012.
