DFDS Lisco has ordered a new ro-pax-ferry for klaipeda-kiel service

The informative page "Maritime Danmark" announces that DFDS Lisco has ordered a new ferry at Marine de Carrara (Italy) to replace "Lisco Optima", sailing between Kiel (Germany) and Klaipeda (Latvia). This will be a sistership of the "Lisco Maxima".

that is no "order". They have chartered the Ro-Pax Ferry "Energia" from Grimaldi. The ship was completed a year ago but has so far been laid up. Energia is already on the way to Klaipeda and will start service End of September. She is the sister ship to the Lisco Maxima already working on the route and will replace Lisco Optima.

currently yes, but Stena is going to return the Coraggio very soon when they take posession of the new Stena Transit.

Presently AUDACIA is idle in Augusta (Sicily) and probably will start a new line with Chioggia. The second ship on the line should be TENACIA when off contract from Grandi Navi Veloci in December.
