Incident in the Solent
« on: February 11, 2009, 05:07:48 PM »
It looks as though there was a close quarters incident involving the Aghulas Stream and Mont St Michel in the Solent.

At 21:00 last night 10th February  just south of the Nab Tower. Both vessels ended up doing a 360 degree turn to avoid a collision as can be seen on the following AIS recording from Solent waters.co.uk.

Hi Andy

Interesting.......do these guys not have radar ??   Or do they simply not bother to look at it ?
