Stena Nordica last seen 31 Dec in the Irish Sea, headed for Holyhead. Liverpool and Dublin AIS coverage doesn't quite reach Holyhead
Ulysses is alongside in Birkenhead, presumably about to leave for Dublin
Jonathan Swift is moored at Falmouth

Oh. I didn't know that.
Is it true that Lairds has been bought/sold again and started up a ship repair business again, following that fiasco with the lengthening of the Italian vessel that never happened?
Come to think of it, is the new mid-section still sat there? I haven't been home for a long while now, so am out of touch.

They have never been out of the ship repair business - they just changed names and are now back to Lairds. They are also the prime contractor for the RFA, at present we have Gold Rover in the West Float, Fort Victoria in Canada 3 and Fort Rosile in the yard. See AIS.
The wet basin is not used for some reason and from what I hear the shed will be used to construct parts of POW & QE.

The centre section when long ago and was scrapped at Rotterdam - it was fully fitted out as well. Anyway we have moved on since then.

Scouse.
