Hi Ben,

Do you know if she is actually in Newhaven at the moment? There is a small possibility that I may be near enough to make a detour during the week, time permitting of course.

Regards

Bob

Hi Ben,

Unfortunately no sign of her today in Newhaven above or below the road bridge. That's not to say she is not there because access is very restricted nowadays due to a lot of new residential building, road closures (pedestrians only), fences, restricted parking and today, very heavy rain so I didn't walk about much.
My visit turned out useful though, I managed a decent photo of the dredger UKD ORCA through the rain  :)

Regards

Bob

She seems to be (or have been) at one of the boatyards in the creek off Robinson Road, normally visible from the high ground at the upper boat store opposite the creek on Denton Island.

I did have a look round Denton Island but most of the land off the road is now fenced off and not very accessible. Not sure if there is any access from the opposite side of the creek.

Regards

Bob
