Hi, I have been given the attached photo to try and find out what vessel is on the right (the white one) this is a photo taken bt Tilbury docks in June 1961. any help would be appreciated!

Hi,as I can see the name of vessel is "Pobeda"("Победа" - Cyrillic) and I believe that is USSR passenger vessel.

Indeed the POBEDA:
Built in 1928 by Schichau shipyards (Danzig) as "Magdalena", renamed as "Iberia" in 1934 after she run aground near Curacao. Was transferred to the USSR as a part of reparations after the World War Two. Suffered major fire in Black Sea in September 1, 1948, 2 crew members and 40 passengers died.
